Greensboro, North Carolina - October 6, 2011 - Today, the HondaJet aircraft departed North Carolina to make its first appearance west of the Rockies en route to play a starring role in Honda Aircraft’s presence at the upcoming National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Convention, and to make a first stop at two locations along the way, to and from the convention.
Honda Aircraft will have a major presence at the NBAA Convention, the world’s largest business aviation annual event, which will be held this year in Las Vegas, Nevada, October 10 to 12.
The company will have a large exhibit space in the Las Vegas Convention Center (Booth C11433) that will include a full-size interior mockup of the HondaJet, as well as spotlight areas showcasing the aircraft’s innovations, avionics and in-flight entertainment system, HondaJet Sales and Support network, and more. The HondaJet aircraft will be the feature attraction at Honda Aircraft’s static display at nearby Henderson Executive Airport.
The HondaJet flights to and from Las Vegas also will enable people in Phoenix and Dallas to see the HondaJet in-person in their cities for the first time.
HondaJet Southwest, the HondaJet dealer serving that area, will host an informal reception at Cutter Aviation Phoenix (PHX) and Cutter Aviation Dallas-McKinney (TKI), where the HondaJet will land while traveling to and from the NBAA Convention. HondaJet flight test engineers and pilots, as well as the HondaJet Southwest team, will be on hand to point out the state-of-the-art features and revolutionary design of the HondaJet and to answer questions.

About HondaJet
HondaJet is the most advanced light business jet aircraft, with best-in-class advantages in performance, comfort, quality and efficiency. The HondaJet is the fastest, highest-flying, most quiet and most fuel efficient in its class. The HondaJet incorporates many technological innovations in aviation design, including a unique over-the-wing engine-mount configuration that dramatically improves performance and fuel efficiency by reducing aerodynamic drag. This airframe design reduces cabin noise and ground-detected noise when overhead and allows for a more spacious cabin and greater cargo capacity. The HondaJet is powered by two highly fuel-efficient GE Honda HF120 turbofan jet engines, and is equipped with the most advanced glass flight deck available in any light business jet, a Honda-customized Garmin® G3000 next-generation all-glass avionics system with a class-leading layout of three 14-inch landscape-format displays and dual touch-screen controllers. The HondaJet is Honda's first-ever commercial aircraft and lives up to the company's reputation for superior performance, efficiency, and value.
